Poison Arrow Retro is an Australian-owned rockabilly, pin-up and alternative fashion brand based on the Gold Coast, Queensland. We create clothing, shoes and accessories for women (and men) who love vintage style — but want it to actually fit and feel good in the real world.

We design for people who live the look, not just wear it for dress-ups. If you love swing dresses, tiki prints, pin-up silhouettes, tattoo-inspired accessories and bold retro style, you’re exactly who we make this for.

How Poison Arrow Started

Poison Arrow was created out of frustration with the vintage fashion market. True 1950s-style patterns look amazing, but they were never made for modern bodies, modern lifestyles or modern expectations of comfort.

We wanted to keep the attitude and aesthetic of rockabilly and pin-up style — but fix the fit, fabrics and sizing so it works for real people. That’s why our designs focus on flattering cuts, stretch fabrics, inclusive sizing and wearable construction, without losing the edge that makes this style special.

After over a decade in business, Poison Arrow has grown into a global brand serving customers across Australia, New Zealand, the UK and beyond — but we’re still hands-on, independent and deeply connected to the subcultures we design for.

We operate a warehouse on the Gold Coast, Queensland, where we keep a wide range of our most popular items ready to ship within Australia. To offer a much larger selection of prints, sizes and exclusive designs, we also work with specialist manufacturing partners who ship directly to customers for certain made-to-order or limited-run pieces.

This hybrid model allows us to:

  • Offer far more styles and sizes than traditional retailers

  • Avoid mass over-production and waste

Every product page clearly shows the estimated delivery time before you order, so you always know what to expect.

Why Some Items Are Made to Order

Many of our garments are produced only when ordered. This lets us keep rare prints, extended sizing and niche designs available long after most brands would discontinue them.
